• No weather delays. Interior work happens inside a heated, enclosed space, so rain, wind, and dropping temperatures outside don’t slow it down the way they do exterior painting. A soggy Pacific Northwest forecast has zero effect on a freshly painted living room.
• Better scheduling. As exterior projects wind down for the season, our crews open up more availability for interior painting, cabinet work, and repairs — often sooner than you’d get if you waited until spring, when everyone wants interior and exterior work done at once.

We’re taking on interior projects of every size and difficulty level this season — including the trickier spots that are tough, or unsafe, to do yourself.

• Interior painting — Large foyers and entryways with high ceilings, tricky stairwells, and vaulted ceilings or popcorn ceiling transformations. Two-story entries and stair-height walls need scaffolding or lifts and steady, experienced hands, not a stepladder and a long roller extension — and overhead work like this goes faster and safer with the right gear.
• Cabinet painting — a budget-friendly way to update a kitchen or bathroom without the cost and disruption of a full cabinet replacement, including sprayed built-ins, cabinetry, and shelving for a smoother, more durable, factory-style finish than a roller and brush can achieve at home.
• Interior touch-ups — drywall patching and repair, trim touch-ups, and small carpentry, so scuffs and dings get handled at the same time as the paint. Primary bedroom and bathroom suites are one of our most popular full-refresh requests this time of year — walls, trim, doors, and bathroom surfaces, all at once.

Every project starts with a free, no-pressure estimate, where we walk the space, talk through paint or cabinet options, and put together a written scope. From there, our crew handles prep — patching, sanding, taping, and protecting floors and furniture — application with premium Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, or Rodda Paint products, and a final walkthrough before we call the job done. Most single rooms wrap up in a day or two; full interior repaints typically take about a week.

Cold Weather? Your Walls Won’t Notice

Interior latex paint applies and dries best between about 50°F and 85°F, and most homes stay well within that range just from normal heating — no special conditions needed. The main things to plan around: humidity (ideally 40–50%), a little extra ventilation while painting (the EPA recommends this for any paint job, and it matters more when windows stay closed in winter), and choosing low-VOC paint — all standard with the Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, and Rodda Paint lines we use. Paint is dry to the touch in 1–2 hours, safe to recoat in about 4 hours, and fully cured in about 30 days — the same timeline any time of year.
